Padmakar M. Parulekar

Mr. Parulekar has been an integral part of the Firm for over 40 years, having led the practice since 1984. He has extensive experience in domestic taxation and auditing. He has successfully run projects involving, inter alia taxation, tax due diligence, formation of joint ventures and collaborations, capital structuring, obtaining various regulatory approvals and representation before tax (including appellate) and regulatory authorities. Moreover, he was also a key member of a team assisting counsels at Supreme Court in a couple of benchmark matters.

He has experience in advising various clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions and other forms of business re-organisations. He has led many high-profile representations to the Govt/CBDT on behalf of industry bodies / Clients. His diverse portfolio of multinational and domestic clients comprises Banks, Life/ Non-Life Insurance, NBFCs. His experience also includes Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Information and Communication sectors.

Mihir M. Bapat

Mr. Bapat has been an integral part of the Firm for over 10 years. His area of expertise includes Income Tax, Business Consultancy and Audit and Assurance. His Income Tax practice experience includes Transfer Pricing and International Taxation. He has been representing clients before authorities up to the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).

He has been involved in assignments including Income Tax advisory, structuring, and purchases of businesses or verticals. His audit and assurance experience includes listed and unlisted entities, private companies and other businesses which operate in industries across wide range. He also advises start-ups on Income Tax, Business Processes and Reconciliations.

His keen interest in numbers and law augurs well with his practice of taxation and audit. Mr. Bapat believes in understanding the facts of the case, studying the situation from all angles and offering a comprehensive solution to the problem.

Pruthviraj M. Pawar

Mr. Pawar has gained extensive experience in GST, Ind AS implementations, auditing, business consultancy, and financial management, making him a crucial part of the firm. He has successfully led projects across a range of areas, including GST, capital structuring, securing various regulatory approvals, and representing clients before GST authorities, including the Appellate Authority.

His expertise encompasses system audits, initial Ind AS implementation, strategic advisory services, and merger planning between listed and unlisted entities. Recognized for his grounded approach and problem-solving mindset, Mr. Pawar has collaborated with a diverse clientele — including Trusts, Educational Institutions, Co-operative Societies, Hospitals, and Public Sector Companies in the fields of Sugar and Industrial Chemicals, as well as Private Sector Companies in Health, Beauty and Cosmetics, Hardware, and Chemicals.
